Some social problems that frequently occur in educational institutions are bullying, high dropout rates, classroom racism, unequal opportunity, and economic disparity. Kozol (1991) was a teacher who had visited different public schools and had found the inequalities in the school structure and instruction levels too. Even though school segregation is not allowed, racial bias is noticed in schools. Students often form groups based on race and ethnicity and often bully minor groups. Bullying can be viewed in every institution, from school to college. Bullying often depends on seniority or class differences too. The inability of the students to cope with such situations often leads to dropouts.
